The wire itself is permanently gold or silver coloured tarnish resistant copper wire. This piece is great because its light and can be molded to one's head to make the fit perfect. Also because of the nature of wire you can tighten or loosen the fit by bending the band. You finally don’t have to get a pressure headache from a hair band!
